Custom Framing Revit Add-in
Development
We developed a custom Revit Add-in using PyRevit and C# to automate the process of placing wall studs in architectural and structural models. The tool was designed to analyze each wall's parameters - including length, height, openings (such as windows and doors), and corner junctions - to generate an accurate and efficient stud layout.

Special attention was given to properly framing around openings and maintaining structural continuity at corners. By integrating this logic into Revit through a user-friendly interface, the add-in significantly reduced manual drafting time, minimized errors, and promoted consistency across framing designs. The development process involved close collaboration with engineers and BIM specialists to align the tool's behavior with real-world construction standards and practices.
